Former executives of Celadon Group Inc. must face one claim of tortious interference with contractual relations brought by the Alabama logistics company that bought the trucking service provider’s assets shortly before it went bankrupt, a Delaware court ruled Tuesday.
Celadon and TA Dispatch LLC reached a $3.25 million settlement in 2020 to resolve a contract dispute and allow Celadon’s Chapter 11 case to proceed. TA Dispatch subsequently sued individual directors and officers from Celadon, first in Indiana and then Delaware Chancery Court.
