Sysco Corp. is facing two proposed federal class actions over a January data breach that exposed the personal information of 71,000 current and former employees.

Joseph Trottier and Jesse Rose alleged in separate lawsuits that Sysco, a global food distributor, negligently stored their information in an unencrypted, Internet accessible environment that was vulnerable to hackers.
