SUNY College Accused by Professor of LGBTQ+ Discrimination

A former philosophy professor at Farmingdale State College of the State University of New York claims in a new lawsuit that the school “engaged in a sustained pattern of discrimination against members of the LGBTQ+ community.”

Travis Holloway, who identifies as gay and is gender-non-conforming, sued the Long Island school Tuesday for discrimination and retaliation, saying he was fired for filing a Title IX complaint for discrimination on the basis of his sexual orientation and gender.
