Summit One Vanderbilt Gets Ticket Class Suit Sent to Arbitration

Summit One Vanderbilt’s motion to compel arbitration in a proposed class action alleging they didn’t disclose the full cost of tickets to their observation deck before purchase was granted by a federal court.

The plaintiffs had entered into valid and enforceable arbitration agreements upon purchasing the tickets, and that those agreements included class action waivers, so they must arbitrate claims individually Judge Margaret M. Garnet from the US District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled.
