A suit against an aircraft service company after an Army helicopter crash will remain in federal court because the company was acting under government officers at the time of the alleged negligence, a federal judge said.
Two former US Army pilots injured in the 2021 crash sued the aircraft maintenance company, M1 Support Services LP, along with other companies allegedly involved in the manufacture and upkeep of the helicopter, in Alabama state court for claims arising from the incident.
