A federal judge tossed the legal claims of a woman whose sexual misconduct report to Michigan State University led to the firing of football coach Mel Tucker.

Brenda Tracy’s claims that officials didn’t take proper steps to prevent her name from being publicly revealed don’t succeed because she either doesn’t meet the requirements for them or show the university’s Board of Trustees and two of its members aren’t immune, Judge Paul L. Maloney wrote Tuesday. Tracy alleged retaliation, deliberate indifference, violations of her constitutional right to privacy, and retaliation, among other claims.
