Subaru Selling Cars With Shaky Driver’s Side Mirrors, Suit Says

Subaru America Inc. is selling 2024 Crosstrek- and Ascent-model vehicles with defective side-view mirrors, a Texas woman claims in a class action complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Plaintiff Katelyn Robinson’s Sept. 20 filing says the driver-side mirrors in the vehicles shake and vibrate while driving, distorting the rearview image and posing a safety hazard. Subaru knew about the defect before selling the vehicles but concealed “the dangerous safety defect” from consumers, according to her complaint.
