Study Abroad Company Will Continue to Face Claims of DOE Fraud

US prosecutors can continue to pursue claims that Study Across the Pond LLC caused several United Kingdom schools that participate in federal student aid programs to submit false claims to the US Department of Education, a federal court said.

The US government adequately alleged that SATP “caused their clients to submit and make false statements,” said Judge Allison D. Burroughs Wednesday in an opinion for the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
