An engineer suffering from Havana syndrome has reached a settlement with the US State Department over allegations that the government discriminated against him because of his new-found disability.
Mark Lenzi and the State Department filed a joint notice of settlement Tuesday with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Lenzi, an engineer with 12 years of experience at the State Department, had alleged that his employer locked him out of overseas assignments because of his illness and his public advocacy on Havana Syndrome.
