Elon Musk’s government efficiency team is still restrained from accessing the US Treasury Department’s payment records or data systems that contain personal information, a New York federal judge ruled Friday.

A group of 19 mostly Democratic-controlled states suing the Trump administration over the Department of Government Efficiency’s access to sensitive data won their motion for a preliminary injunction to extend an existing restraining order on the team.
