A star Ohio high school football player dropped his lawsuit to allow student athletes to use their name, image, and likeness for product endorsements after the state’s high schools elected to lift its ban.

The dismissal entry was filed Tuesday because the Ohio High School Athletic Association, following a vote by its members, changed its bylaws last month, said Luke A. Fedlam of Amundsen Davis LLC.
