St. Louis Schools to Face Religious Workers’ Covid Vaccine Suit

Forty-three St. Louis school workers can pursue most of their claims against the board and two officials for denying them religious exemptions from mandatory Covid-19 vaccination.

The ruling Wednesday by the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri partly turned on the level of constitutional scrutiny to which the vaccine mandate announced by the Board of Education of the City of St. Louis in August 2021 should be subjected.
