Sprouts Farmers Agrees to Arbitrate Ex-Worker’s Age Bias Claims

Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. and a former worker who says he suffered “systemic” age discrimination at the supermarket chain agreed to put the case on hold until arbitration is completed.

The binding agreement being used by the market and plaintiff Dale K. McClendon provides for private arbitration of all claims, according to an order filed Tuesday with the US District Court for Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
