Spirit Aero Settles 737 Max Parts Investor Suit for $29 Million

Spirit AeroSystems Holdings Inc. has agreed to pay investors more than $29 million to settle claims that it hid problems affecting parts for Boeing Co.'s 737 Max airplane, according to a court filing Friday.

The deal should get preliminary approval, investors representing a proposed class told the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Judge Paul A. Engelmayer oversees the case.
