Speedway to Pay Female Managers $12 Million in Equal Pay Lawsuit

Speedway LLC will pay approximately 4,000 female general managers $12.3 million to resolve a class lawsuit alleging male GMs were paid more based on their sex, Philadelphia federal court records show.

Lead plaintiff Nancy De Block filed an unopposed motion for approval of the collective action settlement under the Equal Pay Act with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
