Specialty Networks LLC’s agreement to pay $2.6 million to settle claims stemming from a 2023 data breach at the radiology information systems company received preliminary approval from a federal court.
The settlement would provide over 400,000 class members with the option of three years of credit monitoring and identity theft services, in addition to options for cash payments up to $5,000, according to documents filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Specialty Networks would also pay $300,000 over a three-year period to improve its data security.
