Holloway Funding Group must face a class action filed by a Texas newscaster alleging it made telemarketing calls to consumers in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, a federal court ruled.
Magistrate Judge David L. Horan of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas granted Holloway’s motion for summary judgment as to three counts of the lawsuit on Monday, but denied the motion as to two others, allowing the suit to proceed.
