Southern Graphics to Pay $750,000 to Settle Data Breach Lawsuit

Louisville, Ky.-based Southern Graphics Inc. will pay $750,000 to settle a proposed class action alleging it negligently failed to protect the personal data of nearly 40,000 current and former employees and family members that was exposed in a 2024 data breach, according to a proposed deal filed in federal court.

Class members would be eligible to receive up to $3,500 to cover their documented losses from the breach or a pro rata cash payment from the net settlement fund, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary settlement approval.
