Solicitor General Chat: Ohio SG Ben Flowers Talks Departure

Ohio Solicitor General Benjamin Flowers has left his role after four-and-a-half years to join Cincinnati boutique firm Ashbrook Byrne Kresge LLC as a partner. Hired by Attorney General Dave Yost (R) in 2019, Flowers, 36, has argued in front of the US Supreme Court three times, in addition to numerous times in front of other state and federal courts. His departure came less than a week after he argued in front of the Ohio Supreme Court to nix a preliminary injunction blocking the state from enforcing an abortion ban.
