Sole Fitness Treadmill $3.65 Million False-Ad Deal Gets Approved

Sole Fitness treadmill owners secured an Ohio federal judge’s early approval for a $3.65 million class settlement resolving allegations that Fitness Equipment Services LLC deceptively overstated the exercise machines’ power.

The deal also includes marketing changes and $100 gift cards that class members can use for a one-time purchase on the company’s website. It was tentatively approved by Magistrate Judge Karen L. Litkovitz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, according to an order entered Tuesday.
