Slate Magazine Sues Google After Digital Ads Antitrust Ruling

News company Slate Group LLC sued Google LLC over antitrust violations in Manhattan federal court Tuesday, seeking compensation for the search giant’s monopolization of the digital advertising market.

The lawsuit from the online magazine pointed to the Department of Justice’s largely successful antitrust case against Google, where a judge earlier this year ruled that the company had willfully engaged in anticompetitive acts to maintain a monopoly on the market for open web advertising.
