SkinnyPop Popcorn Facing Class Suit Over Slack Fill, Calories

The makers of SkinnyPop Popcorn are facing a federal class action lawsuit alleging that the product’s bags contain up to 43% less popcorn and more calories per serving than advertised.

Cade Bogren, Michelle Bogren, and Jeremiah Tills filed their class action complaint against The Hershey Salty Snack Sales Co., The Hershey Co., SkinnyPop Popcorn LLC, and others in the US District Court for the Southern District of California on Sept. 12.
