General Motors LLC and Robert Bosch LLC must go back to court over claims that the companies deceived consumers and put emissions-cheating software in Chevrolet Cruze cars, a federal appeals court ruled Friday.
The long-running lawsuit is remanded to a Michigan federal court “for the limited purpose of determining whether the plaintiffs’ remaining claims” are preempted by federal law, Judge Raymond M. Kethledge wrote in the opinion.
