Sirius XM, Pandora Defeat Worker’s Expense Reimbursement Lawsuit

Sirius XM Radio Inc. and subsidiary Pandora Media LLC successfully fought off an ex-office manager’s allegations of expense reimbursement and wage statement failures after a federal judge granted summary judgment in favor of the companies.

The former employee accused Sirius and Pandora of not reimbursing her for the cost of setting up a home office at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. But a reasonable jury couldn’t find that the companies knew or should have known about the specific expenses, the US District Court for the Central District of California said.
