Sirius XM Hit With Call Center Worker’s Unpaid Overtime Claims

Sirius XM Radio Inc. faces new federal claims that it failed to pay customer service workers for time spent booting up and shutting down their computers.

The subscription radio company didn’t pay the customer service representatives for work they had to perform before their Sirius XM call center shifts officially started and after their shifts ended, according to the complaint filed July 14 in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Sirius XM didn’t immediately respond to a Monday request for comment.
