Silverman Taps David Boies in Meta AI Case After Judge Slam (2)

A group of authors, including comedian Sarah Silverman, tapped legal heavyweight David Boies to help in their copyright class action accusing Meta Platforms Inc. of training its AI model on their books without permission.

The addition of the attorneys from the New York firm, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, comes days after Judge Vince Chhabria gave a scathing rebuke of the authors’ existing legal team at a case management hearing.
