A United Kingdom-based business consultancy firm is suing a rival for using a confusingly similar mark to target the same consumers.
Signal Media Limited—doing business as Signal AI—says Signal Insights Inc. is engaging in trademark infringement by incorporating its “Signal” trademarks for overlapping services in the advertising and marketing space. Signal AI says the defendant’s use of the dominant “Signal” element is likely to cause consumer confusion, the complaint, filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, said.
