Technology giant Siemens is suing a New Jersey county for allegedly making up immaterial reasons to deny it a government construction contract, instead giving the deal to a local provider.
Siemens lost a nearly million-dollar job to automate Essex County government building technology when officials awarded the contract to a higher-cost local bid because Siemens didn’t initial several boxes on its forms, a US division of the Munich-based international corporation said in a lawsuit filed Friday.
