A former employee of Siegfried’s Basement LLC dropped his proposed class action alleging the company negligently failed to protect the personal information of employees and customers in a July 2024 ransomware attack and data breach.
Judge Jamel K. Semper of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissed the case with prejudice Monday, three days after lead plaintiff Jason Pontillo filed a notice of voluntary dismissal.
