Jay Schleppenbach joined Shook, Hardy & Bacon as a partner in its government investigations and white collar practice in Chicago, the firm announced Wednesday.
Schleppenbach’s practice focuses on public corruption, environmental regulations, accounting matters, as well as alleged violations of US securities laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the firm said. He is a strategic counselor to large companies, their boards and committees, senior executives, and other individuals.
Previously he was an assistant Illinois attorney general.
