Shibumi Shade Hits Competitor With Second Tech Infringement Suit

A North Carolina beach shade company is suing a competitor for continued patent infringement a year after it won a court order blocking it from selling and marketing certain shades, according to a new lawsuit.

Shibumi Shade Inc. has been manufacturing and selling its products since 2016. Shibumi has sought to protect its intellectual property by registering its innovations with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
