Settlement Reached in Rust-Oleum ‘Earth Friendly’ Labeling Suit

Rust-Oleum Corp. reached a settlement agreement ending a class action lawsuit alleging its Krud Kutter products are misleadingly labeled as “non-toxic” and “Earth friendly.”

Class representative Anthony Bush and the company filed a joint notice of an unspecified settlement in the US District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday. The parties reached the agreement following private mediation in July, according to the notice.
