Securities Suit Against Solar Panel Company Dismissed on Appeal

Investors in Array Technologies Inc. failed to convince a federal appeals court to revive a securities lawsuit over statements the renewable energy company made about the impact of rising steel costs.

Array Technologies’ disclosures didn’t include any misrepresentations, and its earning call statements wouldn’t have misled a reasonable investor if taken together and in context, the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said in a Tuesday opinion affirming the lower court’s dismissal of the case.
