SEC Goes After Tiger Wolf for Running $1.4 Million Ponzi Scheme

The Securities and Exchange Commission is suing Tiger Wolf Capital LLC and its owner in federal court, alleging that they ran a $1.4 million Ponzi Scheme in violation of securities law.

Frank Lynold Mercado and Tiger Wolf sold unregistered securities to more than 100 clients between August 2019 and February 2023, the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Florida says. The clients were told that they were investing in funds managed by Mercado and Tiger Wolf and would receive at least 50% profit on their investments, it says.
