Savannah State University Sued by Professor for Discrimination

Savannah State University is being sued by a professor for race and national origin discrimination for not renewing her employment contract and not hiring her for a new position, according to a federal lawsuit.

Dr. Zhaoqiong (Julie) Qin filed a complaint in the US District Court for the Southern District of Georgia for violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 USC § 1981, and the Civil Rights Act of 1991.
