The San Francisco Unified School District will likely win a court order blocking AmeriCorps from conditioning grants based on compliance with the Trump administration’s anti-DEI and gender ideology executive orders.

Judge Edward M. Chen of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said at a hearing Friday that there is “a substantial likelihood” that he will at least partially grant the school district’s request for a temporary restraining order against the independent federal agency.
