Samsung Sued Over Faulty Stove That Caused Michigan House Fire

A Michigan couple is suing Samsung Electronics Co. in federal district court, alleging that a defective stove caused a fire that destroyed their home and killed one of their pets in 2022.

Jeffrey and Nicole Wozniak sued the South Korean manufacturer in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan Thursday for negligent manufacture, breach of implied and express warranties, and negligent manufacture for failure to warn.
