Samsonite Hit With Patent Infringement Suit by Swissdigital

Samsonite International SA is facing patent infringement claims by backpack maker Swissdigital USA Co. Ltd. over its use of USB plugs in its products.

Swissdigital alleges Samsonite is infringing US Patent Nos. 10,574,071, related to a “bag or luggage with USB charging connector,” 10,931,137, concerning a “sheath for USB charger,” 10,931,138 also involving a “sheath for USB charger,” and 11,601,009, related to a “sheath for convenient charging,” in a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
