Salesforce Inc. must face a lawsuit from sex trafficking victims in Texas who allege the tech giant facilitated trafficking by providing the now-defunct online ads forum Backpage.com with customer relationship software.
The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Thursday upheld a trial court ruling which found the San Francisco-based software company can’t wield the tech industry’s powerful internet immunity law to block the suit.
