Sales Manager Accuses Wireless Retailer of Sex, Pregnancy Bias

A former employee is suing Delphos Wireless Inc. and its president, alleging the wireless retailer engaged in pregnancy and gender discrimination, retaliation, and a failure to accommodate her pregnancy in violation of federal and Ohio civil rights laws.

Ex-sales manager Kristin Burmeister, the then-only female territorial sales manager at the company, claims the company imposed different residency requirements on her and paid her less than her male counterparts, according to her complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
