Sales Directors Get Final Nod on $1.3 Million Wage, Hours Deal

Atria Senior Living Inc. and a class of its community sales directors received final approval of their $1.3 million wage deal stemming from unpaid overtime and missed meal and rest periods.

George Stickles and Michele Rhodes sued Atria Senior Living and Atria Management Company LLC alleging the companies improperly classified the community sales directors such that they weren’t entitled to overtime and meal and rest breaks under California law, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.

Stickles asserted class claims for violations of California law and Rhodes asserted a state Private Attorneys General Act representative claim. ...
