Sabre GLBL Convinces Court to Dismiss Worker Data Breach Claims

Sabre GLBL Inc. shed a proposed data breach class action after a federal court ruled some of the travel industry software company’s workers failed to plead the damages necessary for their substantive claims.

The US District Court for the Northern District of Texas said the workers’ negligence and breach of implied contract claims couldn’t work under state law, and their unjust enrichment claim was insufficiently pleaded. The dismissal was without prejudice.
