RTX Unit Accused of Mishandling Fired Worker’s Carpal Tunnel

Pratt & Whitney, part of the aerospace and defense company RTX Corp., faces allegations that managers mishandled an ex-employee’s hand injury in a way that raised age, disability, and sex discrimination concerns.

Lisa Madsen’s lawsuit, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut, said she had been treated for carpal tunnel on site in 1998 and was provided with a special ergonomic keyboard tray for decades.
