RTX Suit Over Job Ads Targeting Recent Grads Gets Class Status

RTX Corp. failed to block a collective action asserting its use of job advertisements seeking recent college graduates and workers with limited experience discriminates based on age.

The amended complaint contains allegations that make the “modest factual showing” needed for conditional collective certification under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the US District Court for the District of Delaware said Monday, adopting a federal magistrate judge’s recommendation.
