Root Inc. investors dropped their request that the US Supreme Court take their case, in the wake of the justices’ decision that they had improvidently granted another securities case about risk disclosures.
The Root investors petitioned the court in August to hold onto their case while deciding one involving Meta Platforms Inc. But the Supreme Court dismissed the Meta case on Nov. 22.
