Roman Health Ventures Inc is accused of infringing on PioneerRx’s copyrighted software platform to develop a competing in-house product for its telehealth pharmacy department, in a new lawsuit.
The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, describes a scheme where Roman allegedly sent screenshots of PioneerRx’s internal processes to a Polish developer to assist with duplicating the pharmacy management platform.
PioneerRx requires its customers to sign system agreements that include confidentiality provisions in a bid to protect its proprietary information from becoming public.
