Roku Inc. must stop flouting child privacy laws and pay damages to Michigan consumers, the state’s attorney general alleged in a new federal lawsuit Tuesday.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said in a complaint that Roku’s data collection practices violate the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, the federal Video Privacy Protection Act, and other state privacy laws.
