A company allegedly responsible for robocalls over car warranties in violation of federal law failed to convince a Wisconsin federal judge to send a proposed class action to arbitration.
Amanda Reidt alleges Advanced Marketing & Processing Inc. violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act because she never consented to receive the calls. The company, which does business as Protect My Car, moved to compel arbitration, arguing that Reidt agreed to receive calls when she allegedly entered contact information on a third-party website.
