Robinhood Outage Attorneys’ Fee Award Clocks In at $2.79 Million

Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP and Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP will share a $2.79 million attorneys’ fee award in the Robinhood Financial LLP investor class action arising from trading platform outages, a federal judge ordered Friday.

Judge James Donato, for the US District Court for the Northern District of California, also approved $1.1 million in costs incurred during the litigation, which resulted in a $9.9 million settlement the court approved July 19.
