Robert Half Settles Legal Recruiter’s Race, Sex, Color Bias Suit

Robert Half International Inc. and a former employee settled her lawsuit alleging that she was discriminated against because she’s an older dark-skinned Black woman.

Charisse Sands and the company notified the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Friday that they settled the case. The settlement was reached during a mediation session on Thursday, according to a report filed with the court earlier Friday, and the parties later filed a stipulation of dismissal.

“Each party shall bear their own costs, attorneys’ fees, and expenses, except as provided in the settlement agreement,” the stipulation said.
